Our Machine of the Month this October is the Hwacheon Hi-Tech 700 MC
This month, we’re highlighting the Hwacheon Hi-Tech 700 MC, a heavy-duty CNC turning centre designed to deliver powerful, precise machining for larger components.
Built around a highly rigid structure, the Hi-Tech 700 MC combines substantial turning capacity with driven tooling and C-axis capability, allowing manufacturers to carry out both turning and milling operations in a single setup. With a 900mm swing over bed, a maximum cutting diameter of 680mm and a substantial machining length, the Hi-Tech 700 MC is well suited to demanding applications where capacity, rigidity and accuracy are essential.
The machine currently offered by Ward Hi-Tech is equipped with a Fanuc 0i-TF+ control with Manual Guide i, 2000mm between centres, a 24" hydraulic chuck and a powerful 50HP main spindle motor with gearbox drive.
