Ward Hi-Tech is currently looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer – CNC Machine Tools to join and strengthen our specialist engineering team.
With over 40 years of experience in the CNC machine tool industry, Ward Hi-Tech is a well-established, financially secure, with family values based in Sheffield. We have built a strong reputation throughout the UK for providing reliable, professional customer support and are proud of our excellent staff retention.
As we continue to grow, we’re looking for another skilled engineer to become part of our team.
The Role
Working as a Field Service Engineer, you will provide engineering support to our customers, carrying out machine installations, diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on CNC machine tools.
We are ideally looking for someone with a mechanical bias or a strong multi-skilled engineering background.
Key skills and experience include:
- Full CNC machine installations
• Machine diagnostics and fault finding
• Bearing, ball screw and spindle replacement
• Machine alignments
• Fanuc CNC system knowledge
• Heidenhain knowledge would be advantageous
We would also consider an experienced engineer currently working within factory maintenance who is looking to move into a field service position.
